About the Local Group: EUROAVIA Carlow was founded in 2016 by Dillon O’Reilly.the first affiliated and only EUROAVIA society in Ireland. Since then we have proudly provided students in Carlow with the opportunity to be part of a family, that family is EUROAVIA.
About the University / Faculty: Founded in 1970, IT Carlow is located in the centre of Ireland’s South Leinster region (containing the counties of Carlow, Wicklow, Wexford, Kildare, Laois and Kilkenny), approximately one hour from Dublin. IT Carlow provides higher educational full-time taught programmes from level 6 – 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications, along with research programmes at level 9 & 10 and enterprise development opportunities which include a level 7 Course in Aircraft Systems and a level 8 in Aerospace engineering through its Aerospace centre in Carlow. The Institute also provides part-time programmes in Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow, Kilkenny, Kildare (the Curragh), Shannon, Dublin (Tallaght) and, most recently, in Mayo
