Interview with Nicola Cimmino, AS Napoli

“EUROAVIA has definitely influenced my attitude towards people”, says Nicola Cimmino, former IB member twice, who self-declared as a passionate about EUROAVIA. 

Nicola graduated from both, bachelor and master studies, in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Naples “Federico II” in Italy. During that period, he managed to complete an Erasmus programme in Spain and an internship in Ireland, experiences that allowed him to discover new countries, cultures and, as he remarks, friendly and warm people that made him fall in love with those countries, especially Spain. Right now, he’s working at the same University on a project related to satellites collision!

Not even a pandemic can hold AS Pisa down!

Many cities in Italy are currently quarantined, and Pisa makes no exception. Nevertheless, last November we had a chance to visit the Virgo Interferometer... without leaving our homes!Researchers Valerio Boschi and Elena Fiori gave us an interesting introduction on gravitational waves and guided us in a virtual trip just outside Pisa, in the very building where the magic happens.

"Crazy busy" is not an idiom that we love to use. It's easy to discover the reasons behind it. More and more medicians teach that give a "color code" to things helps people in giving priority: red indicates the Emergency, it will be handle quickly; orange is less time-sensitive than the red code; green is an Emergency you can take care of when you are free. The last code I think is the most important: white indicates that there's nothing you can do so you must let it go. When you approach whit this reading-key, you can identify the Association Priority.
