CVA Summer School 2018

The 19th CVA Summer School will be hosted by ETSI and the City of Sevilla between the 15th of July and the 11th of August. This four-week programme is an annual event that targets engineering students and young professionals from the aerospace industry and covers different topics on space transportation.

 

During this event you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how to design Micro-Launchers as they have become a strategic line of research within the aerospace sector
  • Develop your soft skills through several training sessions
  • Design and build a rocket model that will be launched in a Rocket Workshop
  • Get in contact with the industry and meet the professionals of the Space Transportation sector, as well as, alumni of previous Summer School sessions.

 

To apply you need to send a motivational letter, your CV and a recommendation letter from one of your University Professors, all in English, to This email address is being protected from spambots. In order to meet the requirements, you will need to have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate studies in engineering and be a student in a CVA member city*. Young graduates working for CVA member industries are also encouraged to apply. A good level in English is required. You must, also, be a citizen of the European Union or an ESA Member State.

Registration fee: 300€ for CVA member University students; 500€ for CVA member industry employees; 800€ for ex-CVA member cities still with industrial partner**. Fee includes tuition and visits, accommodation with breakfast and some meals.

Make sure you submit your application before 30th of April 2018.
