After becoming a PAS / PAM, organize an International Event with support from our Working Groups.
Prove yourself, be active and eventually apply for becoming an Affiliated Society / Adjunct Member.
An AS (Affiliated Society) is a full member group located within Europe. An AM (Adjunct Member) is a full member group located outside of Europe. Both share similar rights and benefits, but administrative details vary slightly based on the region.
These abbreviations describe your group’s status during the onboarding process.
PPAS (Possible Prospective Affiliated Society): Your status right after your application is accepted.
PAS (Prospective Affiliated Society): Your status after the EUROAVIA Congress officially votes for your admission. After successfully organizing your first international event as a PAS, you may become a full AS. The abbreviations PPAM and PAM follow the exact same logic, but apply to groups based outside of Europe.
The process is tied to our international congresses, which take place twice a year. Typically, it takes a few months from submitting this initial application form to your official presentation and the voting process at the next congress. We will guide you through every step.

Events can range from technical symposia and hands-on workshops to cultural exchanges like Fly-ins or even one of our yearly congresses.
The International Events Working Group (IE WG) will help you choose and plan an event that fits your group’s size and resources.
Not at all. While EUROAVIA is an aerospace association, we welcome students from all related fields, as long as you share a passion for aeronautics and space.
No, the application process itself is completely free. The annual membership fees only apply once your Local Group is officially accepted into the network.
You need a core team of at least 5 motivated students to form a strong local board. This ensures that the workload is distributed and your group has a solid foundation right from the start.
