Rather than operating as separate units, the AS WG is organized geographically, with each region having multiple regional responsibles acting as points of contact for their Local Groups.
Members organize regular contact and meetings with the Local Groups in their region, keeping communication flowing between AS and the IB. They also monitor the health of their region, identifying LGs that are struggling or inactive, and work directly with them to solve problems and support reactivation.
Expansion is coordinated separately from the regional structure. Members look out for potential new Affiliated Societies, initiate contact, and guide prospective societies through the process of becoming an AS — independent of the regional responsibilities, since expansion targets don’t always align with existing regional boundaries.
Imagine if your aerospace vision came to life. Showcase your problem-solving skills to potential employers!
